Heritage Fabrics
We source materials exclusively from historic textile mills in Kyoto and Nishijin, supporting traditional weaving methods that have existed for over 1,200 years. These techniques naturally minimize waste and environmental impact through mindful production.
Slow Fashion
Each piece is made to order in our Tokyo atelier, eliminating overproduction and excess inventory. We believe in creating garments that last decades, not seasons. Quality over quantity, always.
Natural Dyes
Following traditional Japanese dyeing methods, we use plant-based dyes derived from indigo, persimmon, and other natural sources. These techniques produce no toxic runoff and result in colors that deepen beautifully with age.
Zero Waste Pattern
Inspired by traditional kimono construction, our patterns are designed to use every inch of fabric. Remnants are transformed into accessories or returned to artisans for future projects.
Repair Program
Embracing kintsugi philosophy, we offer lifetime repairs for all garments. Worn areas are reinforced with golden thread, celebrating the garment's history while extending its life indefinitely.
Local Production
All garments are produced within 50 kilometers of our Tokyo headquarters, supporting local artisans and minimizing transportation emissions. We know every person who touches our products.
